resa is a multidisciplinarrry wanderer exploring embodied practices, performance, movement, installations,

ostekhan—2023
Ostekhan (lit. Bone) is a specialized analytical magazine about the role of women in cinema. The magazine had already published its 1st issue a year prior to when I got in charge of its art direction. Given the events taking place in my country at the time, I chose to follow a different – harsher and angrier – path than the 1st issue (which had an optimistic outlook and aesthetics). For the title, I based the typography on a forgotten Persian typeset, mixed with an illustration of a bird’s skull
